Workers are wrapping Detroit's bowl-shaped Little Caesars Arena in metal panels that will hug the steel ribcage of the 20,000 seat venue. Less than a year away from the Red Wings 2017-2018 season, crews have been working six days a week. The $627 million area will be supported by five restaurants, seven bars and retail concessions. The development is being funded in part by taxpayers, with a public contribution of $284.5 million. For more photos, go to mlive.com.
