Video Timeline: Four Deaths in One Year at I-4 Construction Site

Florida's WFTV news covered each I-4 construction site fatality, totaling at four deaths within the past year. 

February 2019: A 59-year-old man suffered a head injury around 1 p.m. after being struck by a 20-foot iron pipe. He was unconscious when Orange County Fire Rescue arrived.

March 2018: A 56-year-old worker, Michael Tolman, died after steel being moved by a crane fell on him on South Street.

December 2016: Curtis Popkey, an SGL Constructors subcontractor, was killed by a steel stand used to hold a piece of equipment.

February 2016: Marvin Franklin, 34, was killed after his co-worker backed over him with a dump truck filled with dirt.
