The Association of Equipment Manufacturers conducted a video tour of the new Festival Grounds in Las Vegas, an area to be deployed for Conexpo 2020.
Located West of the former Gold Lot, an area currently under construction and being enlarged, the Festival Grounds stretch north and west of the Hilton Grand Vacation Club along Sahara Ave.
Covering about 1.5 million square feet, the Grounds can incorporate both indoor and outdoor space and includes three permanent rest rooms. The new space is about the same size of the Gold Lot and will accommodate about the same number of exhibitors, says Dana Wuesthoff, show director. Underground raceways will handle electrical and internet connectivity.
She explains in the video how the new space works and how attendees will be able to access it. Transportation to the new space will include hotel shuttles, shuttle buses running a continuous loop from the grounds to the Convention Center, and the monorail stop at the SLS Hotel.
As part of the video, several exhibitors give their thoughts on the space and the transportation options.
