Video: Over, Under, Sideways, Down

New acrobatic drone no longer needs to remain parallel with the ground.

Drone concept capabilities are almost outpacing their applications and the new Voliro prototype hexacopter is just waiting for a good reason show what it's made of.

The Voliro configuration is that of a standard six-prop drone but now, each prop can tilt a full 360 degrees. This means the drone can be flown sideways, upside down, diagonally - however you can manage it.

Its ability to hug walls and other vertical surfaces would be a huge capability advantage for contractors doing bridge or other infrastructure inspections.
