VIDEO: Mobile Brick Laying Robot

Prototype sets up to 1000 bricks per hour

Fastbrick Robotics Limited recently announced their new Hadrian X automated brick laying robot is coming to life.

The Hadrian X is an automated, truck-mounted robot with a 98-foot retractable arm that cuts, grinds, mills, and routes bricks prior to laying. Pallets of bricks are loaded into the back of the truck, then robotically placed on a conveyor. The machine applies an adhesive to the bricks and, using 3D CAD software, the Hadrian X directs where the arm places each brick. The pre-applied adhesive eliminates the need for mortar.
