Video: Four-Legged Fleet Performs Roadside Vegetation Management

The California Department of Transportation has been testing a pilot program to clear invasive plants and create firebreaks on steep slopes near roads in San Diego.

The fleet of 150 four-leggers (aka goats) are also being used as part of an Integrated Vegetation Management Program with hydro-seed to compete against weeds and promote the growth of native vegetation.
