Tyler Mechanical Contracting Awarded Two Jobs

Tyler Mechanical Contracting was selected as the mechanical contractor for the Sidwell Friends School project in Washington, D.C. The project will feature the addition of one new below-ground gymnasium with additional equipment being added to the existing central utility plant to support the new gym. Completion of the new gymnasium is scheduled for July 2010.

The owner of the project is the Sidwell Friends School. The general contractor for the project is Whiting-Turner Contracting Company. The architect/engineer for the project is Cannon Design.

Tyler Mechanical Contracting was also awarded the Rockville Courthouse project in Rockville, MD. The project is a new state-of-the-art 167,000-square-foot, six-story courthouse with an underground parking garage. The courthouse will also feature a humidity-controlled environment, radiant floor heating, DDC Controls System, cafeteria, sheriff's office, and holding cells. Work is scheduled to begin in December 2008. Completion is scheduled for August 2010.

The owner of the project is Rockville District Courthouse. The general contractor for the project is Coakley Williams Construction, Inc. The architect for the project is DMJM Design. The engineer for the project is RMF Eng. Inc.
