Topcon's Valve Switch Unit Simplifies Cat M Series Automation

Automating Caterpillar M series motor graders is now easier thanks to Topcon's new Valve Switch Unit. The VSU eliminates the need to install a hydraulic valve, simplifying the installation process.

“The VSU acts as an interface between the OEM controller and the Topcon controller to run a machine's hydraulic solenoid valves,” says Brian Juroff, director of construction sales at Topcon. “It's a simple procedure to mount the new box and plug the cable into the CAT valve connectors.”

Other benefits of the VSU include compatibility with all M series graders, no CAT activation fee, ability to control both 2D and 3D machines, and weather resistance, Juroff says.
