Tierra web-based telematics service from Topcon Positioning Systems provides seamless, customized data transfer from and to in-field equipment, the company says. Wireless system provides a choice of four hardware setups, real-time monitoring of dashboard information, and bidirectional cellular or satellite communications. Main features include machine control/dashboard, diagnostics, geofencing (with alerts when machines travel outside established boundaries) and video.
