Kubota's first utility vehicle—the RTV900—comes in four configurations and features a variable hydrostatic transmission along with hydraulic power steering. Three-range shifting provides diverse operational speeds for climbing hills and hauling or towing a load. The vehicle has four-wheel drive with a two-wheel drive selection and is powered by a Kubota three-cylinder, liquid-cooled diesel engine rated at 22 horsepower. The wheelbase is 77.4 inches for stability. A MacPherson-type strut front suspension and semi-independent rear-suspension axle provide a smooth ride. Estimated list price: $9,899 to $11,199.
