Sunbelt Rentals reported revenue of $1.82 billion for its fiscal year ended April 30, 2013, according to Rental Equipment Register. As reported by parent company Ashtead plc, the company saw a 20.8-percent increase from its $1.51 billion total last year.
The parent company’s U.K. rental division, A-Plant, reported £206.1 (U.S. $319 million) for the fiscal year, a 9.1-percent increase from the previous year’s £188.9 million.
Before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, Sunbelt’s earnings were $741.4 million, a 37.1 percent increase from last year’s $540.8 million. A-Plant’s earnings totaled £49.5 million, in a 16.3 percent increase from the previous year’s total of £57.6 million.
Total company revenue was £1.46 billion, or U.S. $2.1 billion, compared with £1.13 billion a year ago.
