Standard Satellite Monitoring On Deere Articulated Dump Trucks

September 28, 2010

Bell, the South-African manufacturer of articulated haul trucks, announced that its satellite vehicle-monitoring device named Fleetm@tic will become a standard feature throughout its line in April. John Deere, which sells Bell trucks branded with the leaping-deer logo in North America, will support the system here. Fleetm@tic automatically reports data such as the average weight of the truck, total fuel consumed, idle time, distance covered, and fuel-tank level.
