Short a Last Minute Gift? How About a Toll Road Gift Certificate

The perfect stocking stuffer for the 'go-faster' commuter

December 22, 2016

Thoughtful gift givers in Orange County, California are being encouraged by the Transportation Corridor Agencies to buy gift certificates in $15, $30 and $60 denominations that can be used to pay tolls on the area highways that use FasTrak or ExpressAccount transponders.

Toll roads 73, 133, 241, and 261 in SoCal went cash free in 2014, so a little Christmas cash in the form of gift certificate will certainly be appreciated.

The California Department of Transportation will put the money generated by the sale of gift certificates to pay off debt, fund road maintenance, and customer service.

Interested Santa's can call 949.727.4800 for more information.
