Senators Propose $3.9B Construction Budget for State of Washington

A bipartisan group of state senators proposed a $3.9 billion construction budget for the state of Washington to cover infrastructure spending over the next two years.

The proposal is more than $100 million higher than the funding bill passed in a 96-2 vote by the House.

The Senate’s proposed amendment to the House bill received its first public hearing and is scheduled for a committee vote.
