Schwing has announced the acquisition of management control of Concrete Pump Repair (CPR) through the purchase of 50 percent of the company’s shares.

Concrete Pump Repair, located in North Branch, Minn., will operate as a subsidiary of Schwing. Gerhard Schwing will continue as the owner of the remaining 50 percent of the company’s shares.

Concrete Pump Repair will continue to specialize in the reconditioning and repair of pre-owned concrete pumps. In addition, CPR will also remain committed to supporting customers in the sale of used and re-manufactured parts for boom pumps, stationary pumps, and separate placing booms.

Current CPR employees will be integrated into the Schwing organization, resulting in a combined team of more than 25 aftermarket service and parts specialists. Additionally, the companies will integrate other customer services, including boom inspections, field repairs and the re-trucking of concrete pumps.
