Model SP 2800 is a new stationary concrete pump from Schwing able to produce 130 cubic yards an hour and is powered by a Tier III 197-horsepower Deutz diesel. Open-loop hydraulic system produces 1,465 psi to move concrete to where needed. A key feature, according to the manufacturer, is the Rock Valve that pumps mix at low costs per yard in wear parts and maintenance. It also requires less water for clean-up than other valve types, the company says. Hand-held remote control has 100 feet of cable, with an optional wireless radio remote. Serviceability is enhanced with central greasing and a control panel that monitors all important functions.
