Sany to Invest $200M in Indonesian Factory

Sany will invest $200 million to build a factory in Indonesia to produce heavy equipment, such as excavators. It is said the factory will have production capacity of 1,000 units per year.

Sany will invest $200 million to build a factory in Indonesia to produce heavy equipment, according to a government official in the Southeast Asian country.

The new factory will produce equipment such as excavators, and the company has already bought 10 hectares of land in Cikarang, West Java, said Agus Tjahajana Wirakusumah, director general of international industrial cooperation at the Industry Ministry.
