ROSE Awards Honor AGC Members for Safety

Portland— The Oregon-Columbia Chapter, Associated General Contractors, presented its 2008 Recognition of Safety Excellence awards on Jan. 16 at the chapter's annual business meeting and safety awards breakfast held in Portland. Representatives from eight award-winning companies were honored at the ROSE awards presentation.

Portland— The Oregon-Columbia Chapter, Associated General Contractors, presented its 2008 Recognition of Safety Excellence awards on Jan. 16 at the chapter's annual business meeting and safety awards breakfast held in Portland.

Representatives from eight award-winning companies were honored at the ROSE awards presentation. They are: T. Gerding Construction Co., Permacold Engineering, Wildish Construction Co., Knife River-Southern Oregon Division, Stacy & Witbeck, R&H Construction, Reese Electric, and James W. Fowler Co.

The ROSE program recognizes construction companies that excel at safety and health performance, after closely examining each candidate's commitment to safety, occupational health management and risk control.
