Radar Brakes Before Vehicles Collide

The Object Detection and Brake Interlock System unites MICO's 691 Brake Lock and PreView radar from Preco to automatically apply a vehicle's brakes if anything is in harm's way. The system is initiated when the vehicle is shifted into reverse. PreView radar detects stationary and moving objects in the cone of the radar signal, up to 26 feet away. Multiple radar sensors can be networked into one system for larger jobsites. An onboard display provides visible and audible indication when objects are identified. Estimated list price: $2,000–$3,000.
