Port of NY/NJ Sees $7 Billion Budget Next Year

A $7 billion 2012 budget has been approved by board members of the Port of New York and New Jersey. About $2 billion is set aside for World Trade Center redevelopment and $402 million for Lincoln Tunnel construction.

A $7 billion 2012 budget has been approved by board members of the Port of New York and New Jersey. About $2 billion is set aside for World Trade Center redevelopment and $402 million for Lincoln Tunnel construction. The budget is about $70 million less than what it was this year.

According to The Wall Street Journal/The Associated Press, work on the World Trade Center is the most prominent item in the budget.
