NY Infrastructure Repair Faces Funding Woes

New York state officials looking to commence much-needed bridge and road repairs are facing a budget shortfall of $80 million. As a reported one in three bridges of the more than 17,000 statewide need extensive maintenance, reduced spending by the state on transportation repairs and a decrease in federal stimulus money has left their status in question.
