NY Construction Company Owes Workers $80,000 in Unpaid Wages

July 9, 2015

According to New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, a construction company failed to pay 21 workers between January 2014 and March 2015, reports NY Daily News.

Stonehenge Restoration, a construction company that works on projects in Manhattan and Brooklyn, withheld $76,429 in wages from workers. The owners agreed to an internal monitor and to submit compliance reports to Schneiderman.

“The most basic right as a worker is to be paid for your labor,” Schneiderman said in a NY Daily News article.
