First, the bad news.

You can't buy one here. The new Mercedes-Benz X-Class pickup truck will start selling in Europe, South Africa and Australia in November, then in Argentina and Brazil in 2019. However, according to Volker Mornhinweg, head of Mercedes Vans, "We are keeping a close eye on the U.S. market and are evaluating the conditions for such a move."

If you can wait, the new luxury truck might be worth it. The Mercedes X-Class is a mid-size truck, but according to the Mercedes website, the 1.1 ton payload is enough to transport 17 full 50-litre barrels of beer in the cargo area, or pull a trailer containing three horses or your 26-foot yacht. That should work.
