Nebraska Issues Environmental Map for Keystone

As President Obama is "on the clock" with a 60-day window in which to make a decision on the Keystone XL pipeline, Nebraska regulators released a map detailing the environmentally sensitive areas in the state that TransCanada needs to avoid as the company develops a new route.

As President Obama is "on the clock" with a 60-day window in which to make a decision on the Keystone XL pipeline, Nebraska regulators released a map detailing the environmentally sensitive areas in the state that TransCanada needs to avoid as the company develops a new route. In November, TransCanada agreed to reroute the project to avoid Nebraska's Sandhills region, reports the Raleigh, N.C., News & Observer.
