NAPA, NSSGA Events Scheduled

Orlando, FL— The next World of Asphalt Show & Conference will feature the co-location of the inaugural AGG1 Aggregates Forum & Expo, with the two events to be held March 9—12, 2009, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. The co-location is the result of partnering efforts between the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA), which co-owns World of Asphalt, and the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA), which owns AGG1, aimed at benefiting attendees and exhibitors of both events.

The co-located shows will offer access to more educational programs, a broader array of exhibiting companies and products, and increased opportunities for industry networking. More than 6,000 industry professionals from companies large to small are anticipated to attend the combined events, and some 400 exhibitors are expected to take 90,000 net square feet of exhibit space. The exhibits will be complemented by extensive educational programming designed to meet industry needs.

Several product-focused exhibit pavilions will be featured at the co-located shows to make it easier for attendees and exhibitors to connect and discuss specific operational functions. Aggregate industry pavilions will feature dredging as well as environmental, safety and health-related products and services; asphalt industry pavilions will spotlight pavement maintenance, safety enhancement and "green" eco-friendly products and services; and dual aggregates/asphalt industry pavilions will cover materials testing/measurement, information/technology, and financing-related products and services.
