April 20, 2016

Metso Corporation is launching a new generation of crusher upgrades for their Symons and Nordberg cone crushers, and Superior gyratory crushers.

The new upgrades are offered in easy to install kits with clear installation instructions or customers can have a Metso field service team complete the installation. The new crusher upgrades can be fitted to several of Metso's heritage branded crusher models and are all specifically designed for the mining market.

Upgrade features for these Metso crushers include:

Symons cone crushers

  • Advanced bowl adjustment control
  • Hydraulic motor bowl adjustment system
  • Hydraulic tramp release and clearing system

Nordberg HP800 and MP cone crushers

  • Jack screw locking nut

Metso upgrades feature easier setting adjustments, better crusher reliability and reduce bridging from oversized materials.
