Maryland Awarded Stimulus Funds for Water Projects

Maryland will receive nearly $122 million in federal stimulus funds to help boost state water infrastructure projects and improve the Chesapeake Bay.

The funds will be used to construct water infrastructure projects that create jobs, protect public health and bolster the Chesapeake Bay, according to a press release. Specific projects were not yet unveiled.
