Manitou North America has introduced the MHT 10160 rough-terrain telehandler, which has a rated maximum capacity of 36,000 pounds. The new telehandler’s capacity at its maximum lift height (31 feet 10 inches) is 15,430 pounds. Capacity at its maximum forward (18 feet) is 9,260 pounds. The MHT 10160 uses a 175-horsepower, Tier-3-compliant Mercedes diesel engine and features a two-speed hydrostatic transmission. A high-output, load-sensing hydraulic system is designed to perform three simultaneous movements with no loss of speed. A wide range of attachments are available, including a Manitou-patented off-road tire clamp. The MHT 10160 incorporates all of the standard operating features of the Maniscopic line, such as three steering modes and frame leveling. Standard features include a fully enclosed ROPS-FOPS certified cab with heater and defroster.
