Lincoln Electric welderFour new Power MIG 140 and 180 welders from Lincoln Electric use the company’s Lincoln Diamond Core Technology and a rugged drive system to enhance arc performance when MIG welding thin-gauge steel, stainless-steel and aluminum, or when performing gasless flux-cored welding for deeper penetration on thicker steels — or even outdoors.

Four new Power MIG 140 and 180 welders from Lincoln Electric use the company’s Lincoln Diamond Core Technology and a rugged drive system to enhance arc performance when MIG welding thin-gauge steel, stainless-steel and aluminum, or when performing gasless flux-cored welding for deeper penetration on thicker steels — or even outdoors. Power MIG 140 models run on 120-volt household current with an amperage range of 30 to 140 amps, allowing single-pass MIG welding of 10-gauge materials and self-shielded, flux-cored, multiple-pass welds to 5/16 inch. Power MIG 180 models require 208-230-volt input power, have an amperage range of 25-180, and allow single-pass MIG welds to 3/16 inch and self-shielded, flux-cored, multiple-pass welds to 1/2 inch. Both the Power MIG 140 and 180 are available with two levels of voltage control: models 140T and 180T are equipped with simple tapped voltage control; 140C and 180C models are equipped with continuous voltage control.
