LightSquared, the bankrupt wireless network provider, has filed suit against leaders in the GPS industry, including John Deere, Trimble and Garmin, contending the companies kept quiet about interference concerns from a proposed wireless network until after LightSquared had spent $4 billion toward the project.

In the lawsuit filed in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in New York and reported on by the Chicago Tribune, the company alleged that Deere, Trimble and Garmin led it to believe its network would not interfere with global positioning system devices.
