Komatsu Ltd. will introduce the PC210LCi-10 intelligent Machine Control excavator to the United States in November. The iMC technology controls the boom, arm and bucket by checking position data from the bucket teeth using GNSS antenna and base station.
Auto grade assist allows the operator to move the arm, and the boom automatically adjusts the bucket height and traces the target surface. Fine digging can be done with the arm lever only, Komatsu says.
Auto stop control automatically stops the boom or bucket operation when the bucket edge reaches the design surface.
Minimum distance control automatically controls the bucket by selecting the point on the bucket closest to the target surface.
