Komatsu America is moving its headquarters in Rolling Meadows, Ill., 15 miles to new offices on Chicago's northwest side at Triangle Plaza on Bryn Mawr Avenue. The move will be completed by 2020.
The Triangle Plaza office will put Komatsu at the crossroads of I-294 and I-90, and just steps from O'Hare Airport, making the company more accessible for prospective employees. The company says the campus will provide the Komatsu staff with workplace amenities such as covered parking, two health clubs, and an array of dining and hotel choices.
Komatsu's CEO, Rod Schrader, cited the new office's open floor plan designed to support the company's focus on cross-discipline collaboration. All 300 employees will move to the Bryn Mawr location.
The company has been headquartered at the Rolling Meadows location for 11 years.
