TransCanada has secured the second of three key Army Corps of Engineers' permits for the southern leg of its Keystone XL pipeline.

The permit, awarded by the Corps' office in Tulsa, Okla., covers crossings and wetlands, according to Reuters. Pipeline construction is expected to begin later this summer, TransCanada said.
