Kerr Contractors, a regional heavy civil general contracting firm headquartered in Woodburn, Ore., has acquired the milling division of Kodiak Pacific, also of Oregon. 

As a result of the deal, Kerr's milling division becomes the largest road milling company in the state, and one of the largest in the Pacific Northwest. Paving contractors throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Utah and Alaska utilize Kerr's milling division for road surface recycling and soil stabilization work on projects ranging from highways, airport runways, and commercial development parking lots to smaller jobs such as trenching, cleanup, and site work preparation and stabilization.
