An 8,000-pound front axle can be paired with 16,000-, 17,000- and 18,000-pound rear axle ratings. The T270 offers the Paccar PX-6 engine rated to 325 horsepower and 750 ft.-lbs. of torque. Customers can select manual or automatic transmissions. A new hood of sheet molded composite, one-piece chrome or painted bumper, and new Metton quarter fenders add impact resistance.
