K-Series wheel loaders from 2 to 8 cubic yards come with cab improvements, a new utility-sized loader, and Tier 3 emissions certification

June 01, 2008

John Deere K-Series Wheel LoadersDeere’s nine new K-Series wheel loaders from 2 to 8 cubic yards come with cab improvements, a new utility-sized loader, and Tier 3 emissions certification for the largest models. Pedals have been moved forward and the front console reduced to expand cab room. A streamlined steering column and windshield offer wider view. Joystick steering is now available in the 544K through 844K. An embedded payload weighing scale is powered by Loadrite. The 444K through the 844K are now equipped with Deere’s Quad Cool system, which isolates the radiator, transmission, hydraulic and air-to-air coolers in a separate compartment for exceptional efficiency and decreased debris build-up. An optional reversing fan automatically back-blows every 30 minutes to help keep the cores clean. The 2.75-yard 524K is a utility-sized unit not previously offered.
