The models feature ZF powershift transmissions, as well as ZF front axles and rear axles. The Total Machine Control (TMC) option for the 310SJ and 410J models, says Deere, “provides the best features of an excavator and a four-wheel-drive loader built into one machine.” TMC, says the company, “integrates control of every system in the machine, from engine to transmission and hydraulic functions to brakes.”
