The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) opened a U.S. membership office near Chicago, in Glen Ellyn, Ill. The office is operated in partnership with CM Services Inc. – The Association Partnership Company, and will complement the work being done by Tony Groat, IPAF’s North American manager and American Work Platform Training executive vice-president.
“This investment in staff and facilities is part of IPAF’s ongoing commitment to provide the best possible services to its members across the U.S.,” said IPAF CEO Tim Whiteman. “This is just one of several steps we are taking to ensure that we can provide a full service to U.S. aerial rental companies, end-users and manufacturers.”
Staff at IPAF’s Chicago-area office will be working to increase membership in the United States, as well as promoting the education and training opportunities managed by IPAF throughout the world. They will also serve as the North American call center and fulfillment house.
