Zero-tail-swing excavators feature an articulated boom system to allow excavation within the entire width of the machine without repositioning. The 7.5-metric-ton ZX-75 and 12.5-metric-ton ZX-125 have operating weights of 16,538 and 27,563 pounds, respectively. Both have turbocharged diesel powerplants: 72 horsepower on the ZX-75 and 94 on the ZX-125. Maximum dig depth on the ZX-75 is 13 feet 11 inches; 15 feet 4 inches on the ZX-125.
