Ingersoll-Rand Drilling SolutionsIngersoll Rand Drilling Solutions launched the 700 family of down-the-hole crawler drills with the CM 780 D. Equipped with a rotary head providing 3,000 foot-pounds of torque (4,500 foot-pounds as an option), the unit will drill holes from 4.5 to 6.5 inches in diameter. An on-board IR rotary screw compressor, with output of 825 cubic feet per minute at 350 psi, powers the drill.
