Hyundai Construction Equipment Relocates HQ

Hyundai Construction Equipment is relocating its headquarters and warehouse facilities to Gwinnett County from suburban Chicago, creating about 100 jobs over five years.

Gov. Nathan Deal announced Tuesday, June 21, that Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas will locate its new headquarters in Norcross, Ga., bringing approximately 100 jobs over the next five years. 

“Hyundai Construction Equipment has a global reputation as a leader in providing its customers with innovative, high-quality equipment that serves all facets of the construction industry,” Deal said in a released statement. He said that Georgia’s resources are what attract global companies like Hyundai to the area.

The facility, located at 6100 Atlantic Blvd., is expected to be a $10-million investment.
