Husqvarna Construction Products has launched a mobile version of its website for use with mobile units and smart phones.
The mobile website contains information pertaining to products, support and contacts. Several interactive functions include:
- Dealer locator function that helps the user find the closest Husqvarna supplier, either via GPS or by choosing a location.
- Tool guide that directs the user to the right tool for a certain application.
- Access to the product catalog.
“The mobile website is important in order to connect our different information channels–the full-scale website, the product catalog and other print materials, our channels on YouTube and Facebook–in an efficient manner.” says David Hagström, digital media manager for Husqvarna.
“We’ll be launching around 30 mobile websites in different languages to meet the needs of our markets.”
