House Dems Ask for Delay in Keystone Review

Twenty-five House Democrats asked the State Department to look into conflicts between TransCanada Corp. and the ERM Group, the contractor hired to write the environmental analysis of the Keystone XL pipeline, according to Bloomberg Businessweek.

According to the report, ERM worked on another pipeline project co-owned by TransCanada and allegedly hid its connections to TransCanada when bidding on the Keystone analysis project. In a letter to President Obama, the Democrats asked that the analysis not be released before the agency’s inspector general reviews the situation.
