In addition to increasing operating weight by more than 2,400 pounds, the ZX160LC-3 offers 39 percent more hydraulic flow thanks to the HIOS III hydraulic system used in all Dash-3 models. This leads to 20-percent faster arm roll-in and 15-percent faster boom lowering. The larger ZX200LC-3 model and its reduced-tail-swing equivalent, the ZX225USLC-3, also benefit from the regenerative hydraulics, and boast an additional swing torque increase of 13 percent.
