Hilti’s new DS-HS 80 V2 Hand-Held Gas Saw features a new carburetor setting for increased acceleration

February 01, 2008

Hilti’s new DS-HS 80 V2 Hand-Held Gas Saw features a new carburetor setting for increased acceleration. The company says its narrow tool body and tall motor provide greater balance and less vibration. A redesigned starter assembly, cooler-running motor, and redesigned tank geometry improves fuel intake. The saw’s reversible steel flanges allow you to stock multiple blade types without the need for different arbors.

Powered by an 1,800-watt motor, Hilti's TE 1500-AVR breaker generates 22 foot-pounds of impact energy at up to 1,950 blows per minute.

Hilti says its TE 1000-AVR electric breaker has the lowest vibration in its class, while its 1,600-watt motor delivers power to produce in uses from demolishing concrete slabs to digging clay or removing heavy floor tile.
