The Historical Construction Equipment Association will bring together devotees of old equipment at its annual convention and old-equipment exposition Sept. 5 to 7. The event will be held at the association's headquarters and museum near Bowling Green, Ohio. Open to the general public, the convention features both operating and static exhibits of construction machinery from the early- and mid-1900s. Some 150 to 200 machines powered by gas, diesel, steam and horse are expected to be on display. In addition, exhibitors and vendors of construction toys, scale models, and other collectibles and memorabilia will be on hand.
