Haulotte Group, manufacturer of lifting equipment including telescopic booms and telehandlers, reports $149.6 million in the fourth 2015 quarter consolidated sales, compared to $ 103.1 million in 2014, an increase of 45 percent. Full year sales were $495.1 million compared to $459 million in 2014, an increase of 8 percent.
Haulotte said its cumulative sales were driven by a strong sales performance in North America, up 32 percent, completing the company's best two quarters of activity in the region. Sales in Asia Pacific were up 27 percent, despite the slowdown of the Chinese economy, developments in oil prices and is still dynamic in the aerial work platform market. In Europe, the wait-and-see attitude of major rental companies remains a reality as sales were down 12 percent. Latin America remains in a difficult situation, down 24 percent.
