Haskell Lemon Begins Construction on I-35

Oklahoma City-based Haskell Lemon Construction Co. has begun a widening Interstate 35 in Norman, OK, from four to six lanes both northbound and southbound, beginning between Main Street and Robinson and extending north to Indian Hills Road. The I-35/US 77 interchange will be closed for four months beginning in the first two weeks of April and will be rebuilt with wider curves.

Oklahoma City-based Haskell Lemon Construction Co. has begun a widening Interstate 35 in Norman, OK, from four to six lanes both northbound and southbound, beginning between Main Street and Robinson and extending north to Indian Hills Road. The I-35/US 77 interchange will be closed for four months beginning in the first two weeks of April and will be rebuilt with wider curves. In addition to additional lanes, the $40-million project includes installation of concrete median barriers and overhead lights.

Construction is expected to continue through summer 2010. Haskell Lemon is being offered early completion incentives of up to 100 days at $1.5 million.
