Genie Unveils Prototype Telehandler

Genie has redesigned its 8,000-pound-capacity telehandler and said it will be in production in the fourth quarter of 2012. The prototype is on display at the Rental Show in New Orleans this week.

Genie has redesigned its 8,000-pound-capacity telehandler and said it will be in production in the fourth quarter of 2012. The prototype is on display at the Rental Show in New Orleans this week.

GTH-844B telehandler will replace the existing GTH-844 model. It will have a maximum lift height of 44 feet, with a maximum reach of 28 feet and a gross lifting capacity of 8,000 pounds. The lift capacity at maximum height will be 6,000 pounds and capacity at maximum reach will be 2,000 pounds, according to the company. Operating weight will be 25,000 pounds.
