Fully Autonomous Cars Not Likely, Says America’s Top Transportation Safety Official

Christopher Hart, chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board, was interviewed by Andrew Rosenblum for the MIT Technology Review to find out Hart's opinions on safety and self-driving cars in the country's near future.

Hart discusses the challenges of not-so-complete automation with still significant human engagement, and if automated driving systems can make ethical choices.
